Privacy Policy

Clarsky ("we", "us") operates the website at www.clarsky.com and the Clarsky waitlist. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email hello@clarsky.com.
What we collect
- Email address. When you join the waitlist, we store the email you submit.
- Agent preference. If you tell us which coding agent you use (for example, Claude Code), we store that so we can tailor early access.
- Technical details. When you submit the form, we record the referring page and your browser's user agent to understand where signups come from.
- Usage data. Like most websites, we use analytics that collect pseudonymous information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and on-page interactions.
We do not collect payment information, and we do not ask for any data beyond your email to join the waitlist.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To operate the waitlist and reserve your founding member number, which we do to fulfill your request.
- To send you the welcome email and occasional product updates, which we do with the consent you give when you join. Every update includes an unsubscribe link.
- To measure and improve the site, which is our legitimate interest in understanding how it is used.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of trusted providers to run Clarsky. Your data may be processed by:
- Supabase, database hosting for the waitlist.
- Resend, delivery of the welcome and update emails.
- Vercel, website hosting and delivery.
- PostHog and Google Analytics, product and traffic analytics.
Each provider only processes data to provide its service to us. Some of these providers operate in the United States, so your data may be transferred to and processed there.
Cookies and analytics
We ask for your choice before loading any analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics and PostHog set cookies that help us understand how the site is used. If you decline, they are not loaded and those cookies are never set. A small referral cookie may be stored if you arrive through an invite link, so we can credit the right person. Either way, you keep full access to the waitlist, and you can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as you remain on the waitlist. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove your email promptly.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to hello@clarsky.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Clarsky is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product develops. We will change the date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here.
